What a Great Idea!

Next time you have to drive to the airport you should save yourself time and hassle and try Valet Parking. OK - so it costs a few extra pounds but believe me - it’s worth it.

I fly a fair bit out of Stansted and tried valet parking for the first time a few months ago. With about 20 minutes to go before I got to the airport I gave them a ring to say I was on my way and as I drove up to the airport forecourt I was greeted by a pleasant lady who checked by booking details, gave me a ticket, and cheerily wished me a good journey. With that it was a few steps inside the terminal to check-in. What a change to having to trundle my case to a bus stop, squeezing myself and my luggage onto a crowded bus, (why do I end up standing every time?!), and stop-starting it all the way to the terminal.

On returning, once again it was a quick phone call from the baggage hall and a short walk to the car park where, within a few minutes, my car was delivered to my feet. What a service!
