Students - Need to Earn Money for Gap Year and Backpacking Travels?

Studentgems.com is a new website which provides a way for students to find work and make money until they graduate.  It could be the answer for those wanting to earn money to take a gap year, volunteer abroad, or go on the backpacking trip of a lifetime! 

The website has been set up to help students find work suited to their skills.  The service is free to all parties and works by allowing students to register their details and skills on a national database. Those who are seeking someone to do a job but perhaps cannot afford (or don’t need) a fully-fledged professional can search the database for a suitable person.  It’s a win-win situation.

The list of skills covers just about everything you can think of including admin/bookkeeping, garden design, dressmaking, woodwork, construction, graphic design, photography, music lessons, proofreading, website design, language translations, tutoring, upholstery and even dog walking!
