BA Complete Move to Heathrow T5 Delayed - but Daily Venice Flights Added
Confused about which Terminal you will fly from at Heathrow? It’s advisable to check with the airline until BA’s move is complete. Due to the start-up chaos of Terminal 5, British Airways has delayed moving many of its long-haul flights to the new terminal until the busy high-peak summer season ends. However, from 5 June they have moved some more flights to the new terminal, including New York/JFK, Abuja, Bangalore, Beijing, Cairo, Cape Town, Lagos and Phoenix, Arizona. Their plan is to move remaining long-haul flights to T5 in stages. For information and updates on further moves to T5, visit the British Airways or BAA websites.
On 26 October 2008 British Airways will begin a daily service from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Venice Marco Polo airport. This new route will be in addition to its current schedule operating to Venice from Gatwick. Beautiful Venice is always busy, but why not plan a visit to the romantic city later in the year after the summer season ends? Obtain a quote for your travel insurance here.
