Qantas Domestic Flights Hit by Strikes

The ongoing dispute between Qantas and its engineers continues, with many flights from Melbourne and Sydney cancelled yesterday and more cancellations today. The industrial action is affecting flights at Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Sydney. So far, passengers have experienced minimal disruption as they have been assigned to other flights within an hour of their scheduled departure time.  The industrial action planned for Wednesday and Thursday has been cancelled at the time of writing, according to information posted on the Qantas website.
