Alitalia Floundering and Risk of Transportation Strikes in Italy

The Foreign Office (FCO) has given warning of potential strikes in Italy by a range of organisations, including transportation workers, which could occur at short notice. 

Alitalia’s fate is still unknown as it struggles to stay aloft and there is a reported risk of strikes and flight cancellations at short notice.  Travellers should contact their travel agent or airport for updates before setting off.
