Formula 1 Grand Prix Race Schedule 2009

It’s that time again…The excitement of Formula One racing returns at the end of the month.  So, whether you’ll be taking your seat at the races to soak up the atmosphere – or avoiding the crowds like the plague - here are the dates to help with planning your 2009 travel itinerary:

Australian GP – (Albert Park, Melbourne) – March 27-29
Malaysian GP – (Sepang, Kuala Lumpur) – April 3-5
Chinese GP -  (Shanghai Int’l Circuit) – April 17-19
Bahrain GP -  (Bahrain Int’l, Sakhir) – April 24-26
Spanish GP -  (Catalunya Circuit, Barcelona) – May 8-10
Monaco GP -  (Monte Carlo) – May 21-24
Turkish GP-  (Istanbul Park Circuit) – June 5-7
British GP – (Silverstone) – June 19-21
German GP – (Nurburgring) – July 10-12
Hungarian GP – (Hungaroring, Budapest) – July 24-26
European GP – (Valencia, Spain) – August 21-23
Belgian GP – (Spa-Francorchamps) – August 28-30
Italian GP – (Monza, Milan) – September 11-13
Singapore GP – (Marina Bay Circuit, Singapore) – Sept 25-27
Japanese GP – (Suzuka, Fuji) – October 2-4
Brazilian GP- (Interlagos, Sao Paulo) – Oct 16-18
Abu Dhabi GP – (Yas Marina Circuit, UAE) – Oct 30-Nov 1

The format for 2009 has changed somewhat, with a total of 18 races instead of 19.  Some shuffling has taken place due to the Canadian Grand Prix being dropped, the Turkish Grand Prix being moved into the slot and the debut of the Abu Dhabi GP.  For more information visit the Formula 1 official site.
