Hello, What a pity this happened to cause anxiety before your holiday. The Foreign Office does not appear to have issued an advisory against travel to Mexico at time of writing, and to my knowledge flights are still operating in and out. The situation is receiving top attention and could change any time, so continue to monitor news - or contact your airline or travel agent for their advice.

Latest on Foreign Office site: "The Mexican Secretariat of Health has advised people to avoid large crowds, shaking hands, kissing people as a greeting, or using the subway. Maintaining a distance of at least six feet from other persons and frequent hand washing may decrease the risk of exposure." Your destination may be a factor for you in deciding.

If you have travel insurance with us and wish to call us please use our Freephone number: 0800 652 9944 and we will be happy to discuss the matter - Mon-Fri 9-5. Good luck.
