U.S. Open and British Open Golf Tournaments 2009

Football, rugby and Formula 1 seem to have been dominating the UK sports scene on TV for a while.  However, it will soon be the turn of golf fans to get a dose of their addiction. 

The British Open at Turnberry, Scotland is scheduled for July 16-19 2009 so don’t delay securing your tickets if you plan to be there.  Start getting in the mood and follow the build-up to the event on Twitter.  Tiger Woods has been confirmed to hot up the competition at both the U.S. and British events. 

The U.S. Open Tournament at Bethpage State Park, Black Course, Farmingdale, New York starts on June 15.   Visit the official U.S. Open website and play all 18 holes of the Bethpage Black Course before June 21 for a chance to be the first Virtual U.S. Open Golf Champion!
