AC Milan vs Manchester United – 16 February 2010
Manchester United FC travels out to Italy for a Champions League football match against AC Milan on Tuesday, 16 February 2010.
Visitors to Milan who are not there for the football may wish to avoid the city around this date as it is likely to be very busy and hotels and accommodation scarce.
The venue is the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the San Siro district of Milan. The stadium is more commonly known as just ‘San Siro’ due to the location, which is about 5 km from the centre of Milan. Public transportation is available to get to the stadium via tram or the underground (metro), but don’t forget to get the ticket franked in the machine when boarding public transport.

United fans should remember to take their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) – but it should never be used as a substitute for proper travel insurance! To obtain a quote for UK and European vehicle breakdown cover click here.
