FC Porto vs Arsenal – Weds 17 February 2010
Arsenal FC travels out to Portugal for a UEFA Champions League football match against Porto on Wednesday, 17 February 2010.
The venue is the Estadio do Dragao (Dragon Stadium) in Porto, which is located just over 3 km from the city centre.
Visitors to Porto (not there for the football) may wish to avoid the area around this date, as it is likely to be busy with limited availability of hotels and accommodation.
For more information, visit the Foreign Office (FCO) website for their advice and tips for travelling football fans (Porto game not up at time of writing, but watch for it). Visit our Travel Guide to Portugal for country information and follow the link for the Foreign Office for their latest updated travel advice for Portugal.
Gunners fans should take their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) – but remember that it should never be used as a substitute for proper travel insurance!
