Shakhtar Donetsk v Fulham in Ukraine – 25 Feb 2010
Fulham FC travels out to the Ukraine to meet Shakhtar Donetsk in a UEFA Europa League football match at the Donbass Arena on Thursday, 25 February 2010.
Fans travelling out to support their team are advised to visit the Foreign Office (FCO) website for important travel information and advice provided especially for them.
The excellent advice offered by the FCO includes the following: Your passport should be valid for at least six months – so check the expiration date. They also provide useful advice for avoiding street crime and scams, and to watch for spiking of drinks. You should only drink bottled or boiled water and avoid ice in drinks.
Fans are advised to avoid drinking alcohol before the match as entry to the stadium could be denied for signs of intoxication. The Donbass Arena is cash-free and smart cards can be purchased from the ticket office or promoter.
As always, a friendly reminder not to forget to purchase travel insurance before you leave home – even if you only plan to be gone a short time. Good luck to the team and safe travels to all!
