Birds Not Only Sing – They Can Play Guitar!
Oh, okay then – April Fool!
Well, it was not a total porky… Watch these little Zebra Finches making music at The Barbican Centre in London…
If you have plans to visit our capital before this exhibition ends on 23 May, 2010, why not drop by The Barbican for an uplifting look and listen, and enjoy this inspriing exhibit by Céleste Boursier-Mougenot.
What is not clear from the video is that visitors are free to walk into the exhibit and watch as the birds play many other instruments besides the electric guitar!
It may be April Fool’s Day, but a little bird told us our rates for travel insurance are great value and hard to beat – and that is definitely true!
Note: For those not familiar with the term ‘porky’ or ‘porkies’ it is British slang for a lie and comes from Cockney rhyming slang. For example: Pork pie = lie, apples and pears = stairs, dog and bone = phone, etc.
