Many stars and celebrities have joined in the cause to fight malaria, including Ashton Kutcher, David Beckham and Andy Murray.
American Idol held a two-hour event again this year as part of its ‘Idol Gives Back’ campaign to raise funds for good causes. It’s terrific news for Malaria No More that they are named as one of the beneficiaries.
A child dies every 30 seconds due to malaria – a disease which can be prevented and treated – and thousands of children die from the disease each day in Africa.
