Red Arrows – Displays 2010

If you live in the UK or plan to visit the UK or Europe this year, check for any airshows near you and the chance to see the incredible Royal Air Force Red Arrows display team in action. 

They have events planned further afield than just the UK, as you will see from the 2010 Events calendar.  Dates are always subject to change, and depend on weather conditions, so check ahead to avoid disappointment.  

The Red Arrows pilots are highly trained and, if selected, take three years out of their normal duties to join the team.  The Red Arrows now includes its first female fast jet pilot – congratulations to Flight Lieutenant Kirsty Moore!

July 6 – Buckingham Palace flypast
July 11 – British F1 Grand Prix, Silverstone
July 19 & 23,24,25 – Farnborough International Airshow (UK)

Aug 6 – Cowes Week, Isle of Wight (UK)
Aug 7 – Festival of Flights, Newcastle, N. Ireland
Aug 12-13 – Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival (UK)

Sept 4-5 – The Battle of Britain Airshow, Duxford (UK)
Sept 9 – Guernsey and Jersey, Channel Islands
Sept 12 – Rivolto Air Base, Italy
Sept 23 – Monaco Yacht Show
Sept 25-26 – 70th Ann. Battle of Britain, Rennes, France
