Aston Villa v Rapid Wien
Aston Villa FC travels to Vienna, Austria for the away leg in a UEFA Europa League match against SK Rapid Vienna on Thursday, 19 August 2010. The venue is the Gerhard Hanappi Stadium in Vienna.
Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice for Villa fans travelling to Austria to support their team is now available. It includes passport and visa information, advice on getting to the stadium, alcohol, use of credit cards, etc.
Advice and travel information for Villa fans provided by the British Embassy in Vienna is also available to download from the Aston Villa FC website. Their advice includes what to do if you have your passport or other possessions stolen and important contact information.
Fans should carry their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) with them but this should not be used as a substitute for comprehensive travel insurance.
