When contacting the claims handler, please have the following information to hand:
- Name of Your policy and where it was purchased
- Master Policy Number: WHIIL/TIA-UK/2011
- Validation Certificate Policy Number
- Resort and country visited
- Value of the claim
- Brief circumstances
- Travel dates
- Incident date
Failure to have the above information at hand, may result in Your claim being delayed. Claims must be notified within 31 days after the end of the trip.

What you should do in the event of a medical emergency outside your usual place of residence and in all cases invlolving repatriation of curtailment:
The emergency assistance provided for you by this Insurance is operated by our Emergency Assistance Service.
In the event of any illness, injury, Accident involving anyone insured under this policy where the anticipated
costs are likely to exceed £300 or result in hospitalisation you must notify First Assist. They will direct
you to an appropriate medical facility and may be able to guarantee costs on your behalf.
When contacting our Emergency Assistance Service please state that your insurance is provided by White Horse Insurance Ireland Limited and
quote reference WHIIL/TIA-UK/2011:

Hospital Treatment Abroad
If You are admitted to hospital You must contact our Emergency Assistance Service immediately. If You do not, this could mean that We will not provide cover or
We will reduce the amount We pay for medical expenses. If You are not admitted to hospital but You receive medical treatment abroad as an
outpatient under £300, You should pay the hospital or clinic and claim back Your medical expenses from White Horse Insurance Ireland
Claims Department when You return to the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Republic of Ireland.
Returning Early
If You have to return to the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Republic of Ireland under the Cancellation and Curtailment section Medical Expenses section our Emergency Assistance Service must authorise this. If they do not, this could mean that We will not provide cover or We may
reduce the amount We pay for Your return to the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or Republic of Ireland. Our Emergency Assistance Service reserve the right to
repatriate You should Our medical advisors view You as being fit to travel.
