Annual Travel Insurance with Ski Cover

For regular holiday makers who also like their skiing, our annual multi trip travel insurance also has an option to add 24 days ski and winter sports cover. This is always worth a look as it can offer savings on as few as two trips in any one year.

Levels of Cover

WHICH WINTER SPORTS ACTIVITIES ARE COVERED?
All our ski insurance policies include cover for the following winter sports activities when participated in as a leisure activity. Where the term "winter sports" is used it is defined as being:

Skiing
Off Piste Skiing (except in areas designated as unsafe by resort management)
Snowboarding with a leash / tether
Recreational Racing
Mono Skiing
Guided Cross Country Skiing
Snowmobiling *
Tobogganing
Ice Skating

Additionally you will be covered for:

Husky Sledge Riding
Glacier Walking (Guided)

We cannot cover for: ski jumping, ski flying, heli-skiing, ski acrobatics, ski stunting, freestyle skiing, off-piste skiing on areas designated as unsafe by resort management, ski racing and training, ski bob racing, parapenting, ice hockey, and any use of skeletons or bobsleighs. We are not able to cover for any work related activities whether the work is paid or unpaid.

* We are unable to offer Third party liability cover for claims relating to use of a snowmobile or other motorised vehicle.

Finland: It is part of the Finnish Traffic Act that all snowmobiles have Liability insurance as standard and the only expense that anyone driving one has is an excess of no more than 505 Euros. Sweden & Norway: Information unavailable at present.

SKI EQUIPMENT
You will be covered for if the following Ski Equipment is lost, stolen or damaged:

Skis
Ski Sticks
Ski Bindings
Ski Boots
Snowboards
Snowboards
Snowboard Bindings
Snowboard Boots

Note: A pair is considered as a single item under the terms of insurance. We cannot cover for any items left unattended in an area to which general public has access or left in charge of a person who doesn't have official responsibility for the safekeeping of property.
