Skiing in Iowa? Does Iowa have mountains, you ask? Well,
no, not exactly. The Midwest of America is not
known for its winter sports destinations. However, what it
lacks in mountains it makes up for in modern technology and snowmaking
- if you don’t mind skiing almost solely on the man-made stuff. It
may not rival its neighbouring mountainous states, but there are
some fun ski areas for skiers and boarders alike to get out in the
fresh air. Night skiing is widely available. It’s
a good place to learn, or condition those ski muscles and prepare
yourself for some action in the mountains once you find your balance.
An essential part of your ski holiday, Ski Insurance will provide
cover for medical expenses and ski injuries including air ambulance
from the slopes if needed. Click
