The state of Maryland has plenty of history, with its Civil
War Trails, and even the birth of the Star Spangled Banner in
Baltimore. From the Chesapeake Bay to the state capital
of Annapolis and the Allegheny Mountains, there is lots to be
explored in Maryland.
There is not a whole lot of skiing in Maryland, but you can
find some family fun and challenging vertical action in Wisp
at Deep Creek Mountain Resort. You can take your pick of
winter activities, from skiing and boarding to cross-country,
snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing.
