Missouri may not pop into your mind as a ski destination, but you might find yourself in the state’s capital  Kansas City or St. Louis and fancy a bit of winter sports fun.  So, yes – it is possible in Missouri!


Missouri is also famous for its scenic parks, rivers and caves, wine country and the scenic Ozark Trail.  St. Louis has the famous landmark the Gateway Arch Riverfront, as well as the Anheuser-Busch brewery, museums and lots of leisure activities.  Kansas City is also known for its art community and museums and jazz clubs.

Hidden Valley

Located just minutes from St. Louis, hidden Valley offers fun family skiing with night skiing every night and midnight skiing on Friday and Saturday from late December on - conditions permitting.   They have 100% snowmaking available and a Wonder Carpet for beginners.  There is a lodge, ski school and rental shop.  For boarders there is a terrain park with rails and jumps but note that rental equipment is not permitted in the terrain park.  Accommodation is available in the Eureka and Wildwood areas. 


Snow Creek

Located in Weston in the western part of Missouri, Snow Creek offers snowmaking, a ski lodge and ski school and rental shop.   Expert skiers and boarders will enjoy the rails, table tops, pipes, and more in Rattlesnake park.  Accommodation is available just a few miles away.
