Bryce Resort
Bryce Resort is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It
is a great place for families and for beginners. On offer
is downhill skiing, boarding and tubing.
Base elevation 1,250 feet, Summit 1,750 feet, Vertical drop
500 feet. 25 skiable acres, Annual average snowfall 30
inches. 100% snowmaking. Five lifts (3 surface and
2 double chairs). Eight trails and the longest run

Massanutten Resort
Massanutten Resort is a great family ski area located in the
Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It offers 14 trails, 70
skiable acres, 7 lifts (1 quad, 3 double, 1 J-Bar and 2 handle
tows), a vertical drop of 1,100 feet, snowboard park with quarter
pipe, night skiing and tubing. Skier levels: 30%
beginner, 35% intermediate, 35% advanced. Average
annual snowfall 56 inches.

Homestead
The Homestead is also a great family destination. Vertical drop
700 feet with summit elevation of 3,200 feet. With 9 runs,
5 lifts (1 double, 1 T-bar, 1 J-Bar, 2 rope tows), 45 skiable
acres, boarding, and snowmaking facilities. Skier levels: 34%
beginner, 33% intermediate and 33% advanced. Annual average
snowfall is 50 inches. There is also a skating rink, tubing
park and snowshoeing. For boarders there is a half-pipe. No
night skiing.

Wintergreen Ski
Resort
Wintergreen Ski Resort is located in Virginia’s Blue Ridge
Mountains, approx. 42 miles from Charlottesville. This
is a great family resort with plenty of variety of terrain for
all levels and a 1,000 vertical drop. The summit elevation
is 3,515 feet, 24 trails, 90 acres of skiable terrain, 5 lifts
(2 Hi speed 6-person, 1 quad, 1 triple, 1 double). Skier
levels: 20% beginner, 42% intermediate, 21% advanced,
17% expert. Night skiing is available as well as tubing
and boarding with a terrain park and half pipe.
