Q. I don't have swine flu at present but have decided not to travel. Can I get a refund on my travel insurance?
A. You can only get a refund if you are still within the 14 day cooling off period on your insurance. There is no cover for cancellation simply due to the fear of contracting swine Flu.
Q. What if the airline refuses travel at the airport?
A. You will be covered for cancellation as long as you are suffering from Swine Flu. You would need to supply a medical certificate from your GP or from the airline medical practitioner.
