About Belfast Airport
Belfast International Airport lies 18 miles north west of Belfast
and to many is till know as Aldergove. It was originally selected
to be the Royal Flying Corps training establishment during the
First World War. Today Belfast International Airport handles roughly
4 million passengers and is also the most technologically advanced
airport in Northern Ireland.
How to Get There
The airport is easy to get to by a network of major roads and motorways.
Take junction 5 of the northbound M2 and then the A57 for 7 miles.
The Antrim Airlink operates Monday to Friday from the airport terminal
to Antrim bus and railway station. Airbus operates a service to
Belfast city centre every half hour from Monday to Saturday and
a hourly or half hourly service on Sundays. AIRporter also runs
a 2 hourly service to Derry / Londonderry. The nearest railway
station is Antrim.

Shops at the airport include the local Taste of Ulster, electrical
retailer Dixon's (duty free) and the Tax Free Shop - Travel Shopping.

Hilton Templepatrick ****
The Hilton is situated 5 miles from the airport and is served
with half hourly transfers on request. There is a courtesy phone
in arrivals. Rooms have all the usual facilities including en-suite,
