About Edinburgh Airport
Over 35 airlines serve around 60 destinations at Edinburgh
and some eight million passengers pass through the airport
a year - figures which are set to grow as Scotland's international
connections develop. The single runway manages to cope with more
than 8 million passengers each year all passing through a single
terminal.

How to Get There
Edinburgh Airport is situated twelve kilometres from the centre
of Edinburgh. When travelling from Edinburgh, head along the
A8 towards Glasgow. If travelling from the opposite side, follow
the A8 towards Edinburgh. The airport is clearly signposted
from the A8.
Although there is no dedicated railway station train station
the two main stations in Edinburgh are easy to get to and both
are on regular bus routes to the airport. Both Edinburgh Waverley
and Edinburgh Haymarket stations operate services between Glasgow
and other Scottish and English destinations, including a GNER
stopping service to London King's Cross.
Refreshments and Shopping
As you might expect, Edinburgh Airport has a wide range of shops
and refreshment facilities both land side and air side. In
the departure lounge you will find the likes of Best of Scotland,
Boots Health and Beauty, Impulse Music, Rolling Luggage, Thornton's
and Tie Rack. There is also the usual duty free shops.
If you are looking for something to eat and drink you will find
refreshment provided by any of the restaurants and bars such
as Costa, Weatherspoons or the Food Village featuring La Brioche
Doree, Burger King, Franklin's of Boston and Village Grill.

Although situated officially off the airport Airparks car park
is only one minute from the terminal and there are transfers
running 24 hours a day. The car park can accommodate 1600 vehicles
right up to a 17 seater transit van size.

Five minutes from the airport, Park and Fly has regular transfers
from its security controlled car park to the terminal building.
