About Glasgow Airport
Glasgow Airport is the busiest of Scotland's three international airports. Although in use since 1932 as an overspill to an RAF base it wasn't until BAA purchased it in 1975 that the airports expansion really began. Today it attracts more than eight million passengers a year. The terminal has three piers all of which have air bridges.

How to Get There
Glasgow airport is about 20 minutes from Glasgow City Centre and just a couple of minutes from the town of Paisley. Situated on the M8 motorway at Junction 28 it is easily accessible form all directions. Paisley Gilmour Train station is just two minutes away by cab or coach where there are direct services to Glasgow Central and the rest of the country beyond. There are also frequent bus and coach services.

Refreshments and Shopping
As usual there is a wide range of shops, cafes, bars and cafes. Land side shops include Boots, Dixon's and The Body SHop while air side you will find WH Smiths and World Duty Free.

Security Parking (Short Stay)
An off airport short stay car park operated by Airlink situated 1.5 miles from the terminal. There is a freephone number to call for transfers. You should allow 40 minutes to park your car and transfer to the airport.

NCP Flightpath (Long Stay)
Flightpath is a long stay airport car park with a minimum 8 day stay. Transfers operate 24 hours a day every 10 minutes with a journey time of just 5 minutes.

Airlink Security Personal Parking
Cars collected from the airport and you will be transferred to the car park on your return.

Holiday Inn
The Holiday Inn couldn't be more convenient for Glasgow Airport being situated directly opposite the terminal building and next to the Railway Station.
