About Southampton Airport

Southampton Airport is the primary ‘Fast Track’ airport covering the central part of Southern England . It currently has 14 airlines which serve approx. 40 destinations with about 1.5 million travelers using the airport per year. For stays of less than 24 hours, the short stay parking area, adjacent to the terminal, is free for the first 15 minutes which is convenient for drop off or meeting arriving passengers. Long Stay parking with Pink Elephant is a 5-7 minute ride from the terminal and a shuttle bus runs every 10-12 minutes.

How to Get There

Southampton Airport is located close to Southampton city centre on the interchange of the M27 and M3 motorways. From the M27 exit at Junction No.5 coming from Oxford or Newbury the airport can be reached from the A34. All motorways leading to the airport are clearly marked with signs to the airport. The airport can be reached by coach, and trains run from Parkway Station, just steps from the airport, up to three times per hour to/from London ’s Waterloo station.

Shopping

A World Duty Free shop is located in the terminal building as well as a variety of other cafes, bars and restaurants. An ATM is located in the main concourse between the bureau de change and WH Smith.

Flybe and British Airways have business lounges at the airport which can be used by BA Executive Club Gold and Silver members, and Flybe economy plus passengers.

Business Facilities

Internet access is available throughout the airport for laptops and handheld computers, as well as access to the net near the BAA Information Desk before security. The De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel has conference facilities for up to 2000 delegates Theatre style and all sizes in between. The Jury's Inn hotel offers 10 air-conditioned meeting rooms accommodating from 5-100 delegates.

The De Vere Grand Harbour ****

This modern and upscale hotel is located on the waterfront in Southampton , close to the marina, shops and bars.
