The most popular destination in Israel is Jerusalem and for
good reason; with its beautiful mosques, a church on every corner
and many places of biblical importance. For an incredible view
of the old city be sure to go to the original campus location
for the Hebrew University , Mount Scopus . If you move to
the other side of the university campus you can look out over
the Judean Desert towards Jordan and on clear days it’s
even possible to see the Dead Sea and the Moab mountains of Jordan
in the background.
If you’re looking for a place with a real party atmosphere
then Tel Aviv is the place. It has excellent beaches, a colourful
nightlife and top restaurants, which are probably the best to
be found for a 1,000 miles in all directions. If scuba diving
is your thing then the Red Sea beach resort of Eilat is the place
to visit. Located on the southern most tip of Israel , this is
an extremely popular fun in the sun destination.

Israel has a temperate climate and is hot and dry in south eastern
desert areas.
