There is an extremely high standard of living and an extremely
attractive skyline running along the shores edge. These apartments
are very much the haunt of the rich and famous and change hands
for huge amounts of money. Singapore is well known for its shopping
and there are claimed to be more than 1000 shopping centres selling
a huge range of high quality items.
Despite the fact that there has been heavy development on Singapore
the past 30 years or so, the government work hard to keep a balance
between industrial development and urban parkland and therefore
the entire island is surrounded by beautiful open spaces. Although
Singapore operates as a regulated society there is a great diversity
of religions, lifestyles and cultures. The fine reputation of
Singapore is extremely well earned and visitors will marvel at
this clean and modern city.

Some of the more interesting areas of the city to visit are
the ethnic areas such as Chinatown, Little India, the Colonial
District and Arab Street . It is also worth noting that south
of the city there are numerous islands including Sentosa, which,
due to its beauty is probably the most visited.
Weather
Singapore is a tropical climate and therefore hot, humid and
rainy. It has 2 monsoon seasons, a north eastern monsoon between
December and March and a south western monsoon from June to
September. There are often frequent afternoon and early evening
thunderstorms throughout the remainder of the year.
